The Harmony Standard Comet Electric Guitar in Sunburst with a Rosewood Fingerboard (COMETRMB) is part of Harmony's lineup of electric guitars. Harmony is a well-known brand in the world of musical instruments, and they have a reputation for producing quality instruments with vintage aesthetics. Inspired by the original Harmony H72 of the '60s, the Comet represents the very first semi-hollow electric guitar in our lineup of cherished musical instruments. This double cutaway guitar has an immaculately carved genuine mahogany top and back for warm, well-rounded and acoustic-like tone. The addition of a center block minimizes feedback, and the long-tenon set neck construction increases sustain. Custom gold foil humbuckers provide sheer musical enjoyment for players who love rock, blues and more, while the push/pull master volume pot extends the Comet's tonal possibilities by engaging incredible out-of-phase sounds. A six-in-line headstock pays homage to the original H72's iconic look, and premium hardware ensures that the Comet will never lose its appeal.

FEATURES:

  1. Body: The guitar features a solid body design, typically made of basswood or other tonewoods, which affects the guitar's overall tone.

  2. Finish: The Midnight Blue finish gives the guitar a sleek and stylish appearance.

  3. Neck: The neck is usually made of maple and is set into the body. It has a comfortable profile for playing.

  4. Fingerboard: The fingerboard is made of rosewood, a common choice for its smooth playing surface. It typically has a 22-fret configuration for extended range.

  5. Pickups: The guitar is equipped with one or more pickups, which capture the sound of the strings and send it to the amplifier. Pickup configurations may vary, but common setups include single-coil and humbucker pickups.

  6. Controls: You'll find knobs and switches for controlling the guitar's volume, tone, and pickup selection. The exact control layout can vary.

  7. Bridge: The bridge holds the strings in place and affects the guitar's intonation and sustain. Harmony guitars often feature a fixed bridge or tremolo bridge, depending on the model.

  8. Hardware: Hardware components like tuners, knobs, and the bridge are typically made to be durable and reliable.

  9. Scale Length: The scale length is the length of the vibrating portion of the strings. Harmony guitars usually have a standard scale length, which can vary depending on the specific model.

  10. Weight: The weight of the guitar can vary depending on the materials used and the design.
